For those who know me, I am not a woman with much expendable time for exercise. This pains me. When I was in my twenties, I was that really annoying girl who woke up religiously at 6 am (sometimes before!?) to do yoga. Every day. My minimum was 30 minutes, and at least four times a week, I would practice for 90.
Ha! I weep.
Now, I am blessed, BLESSED, I tell you, to get 20 minutes twice a week. There’s something about having twin toddlers, being a working parent, being a solid partner, and oh, ha, being self-employed that really just makes the time fly by. Most days, I find meaningful and effective movement through picking up my kids with good body mechanics (a weighted squat!) and doing a few efficient movements.
